1978 Datsun 280Z Gas Tank has been fully restored, successfully, and was in a running 1978 280Z. We believe 280Z gas tanks are year specific and we believe this tank will fit a 1977 or 1978 280Z. There are rust spots on top half of tank which were cleaned and restored with professional grade patches. There are minor rust spots on the top tank flat from after it was reinstalled - light rust. Bottom half of tank looks to be in excellent condition with no evidence of needed repairs. Interior of gas tank was cleaned and coated. All hose ports are solid. We suggest you pressure test this tank before installation. Guaranteed.
